About the position

The Senior Associate in CFO Services at A&M will work closely with private equity portfolio companies to enhance their financial performance and operational efficiency. This role focuses on providing strategic insights and hands-on support to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and overall business value. The Senior Associate will engage in data analysis, project management, and team collaboration to deliver tailored financial solutions and ensure successful execution of financial strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze data to support project objectives.
  • Develop information requests based on specific project scopes.
  • Lead client interviews to gather meaningful data and insights.
  • Identify information gaps through trend analysis and pattern recognition.
  • Challenge preconceived beliefs with fact-based analytics.
  • Enhance management reporting and develop reliable forecasting models.
  • Create storyline messages using supporting facts and analyses for presentations.
  • Review and provide inputs to all work products to ensure logical and accurate client deliverables.
  • Develop financial models, including three-statement forecasts and liquidity forecasting.
  • Promote a team environment that encourages diverse ideas and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university with a concentration in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
  • Experience in building integrated financial models and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
