About the position

The Senior Associate in CFO Services at A&M plays a crucial role in working with private equity portfolio companies to enhance their financial performance and operational efficiency. This position focuses on providing strategic financial insights, optimizing liquidity and working capital, and supporting business transformations through hands-on involvement. The Senior Associate will engage in data analysis, project management, and team collaboration to deliver credible financial outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Data collection, validation, and analysis to support project objectives.
  • Lead client interviews to gather meaningful data and identify information gaps.
  • Conduct trend analysis and challenge preconceived beliefs with fact-based analytics.
  • Deep dive into relevant data to improve management reporting and develop reliable forecasting.
  • Develop storyline messages using supporting facts and ensure data consistency in presentations.
  • Review and provide inputs to work products, ensuring logical and accurate client deliverables.
  • Set reasonable timelines and expectations aligned with client needs.
  • Independently develop financial models and client presentations accurately.
  • Create bespoke solutions during unprecedented times while promoting teamwork.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university with a concentration in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
  • Experience in building integrated financial models and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
