The Senior Director of CFO Services at A&M plays a pivotal role in working with private equity-held portfolio companies to deliver solutions that enhance value preservation and generation. This position is focused on improving transparency regarding key business drivers and performance metrics, ultimately supporting the increase of cash flow and EBITDA for clients. The Senior Director will engage directly with private equity firms to ensure that their portfolio companies are equipped with credible financial plans and the capability to execute these plans effectively, thereby achieving desired financial outcomes. CFO Services encompasses several key areas, including Liquidity & Working Capital Optimization, Strategic Analytics & Planning, Performance Measurement & Management, and Business Transformation. Additionally, Auxiliary Services such as Accounting Remediation are provided to address specific client needs. The Senior Director will be responsible for hypothesis and scope development, connecting with private equity and client executive teams to facilitate comprehensive information gathering. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational challenges and the ability to identify actionable paths forward for clients. In terms of project management and implementation, the Senior Director will develop complex business improvement plans and lead projects independently. This includes delivering on private equity-focused initiatives such as Interim Management Roles, Liquidity Management, Business Transformation, Performance Improvement, and Accounting Remediation. The role demands proactive management of client expectations and risk, fostering long-term client relationships, and ensuring that senior management and board members are aligned with key business focuses and implementation plans. Leadership is a critical component of this role, as the Senior Director will apply industry expertise to create and deliver innovative solutions. Accountability for client relationship management and team deliverables is essential, as is the ability to drive urgency in addressing critical issues. The Senior Director will also be responsible for identifying weaknesses in finance and accounting processes within client organizations and providing remediation strategies moving forward. Financial acumen is paramount, with the ideal candidate possessing experience in a CFO role and a proven track record of delivering value to businesses. Experience in controllership, finance, and accounting advisory services is also highly relevant. The position requires a graduate degree in a relevant field, with over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity. While a CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master's Degree is preferred, it is not mandatory. The salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $275,000 annually, with additional discretionary bonuses based on individual and firm performance.
