About the position
The Per Diem Float Pharmacist at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities by processing prescriptions and providing medication management. This position involves working at multiple pharmacy locations in the Twin Cities Metro area, ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws, and delivering exceptional customer service. The pharmacist will also administer immunizations as permitted and engage in various pharmacy duties to support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Performs any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Requirements
- BA or PharmD in Pharmacy
- Current pharmacist license in state of Minnesota
- Immunization certified or willing to obtain within three months of employment
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
