The Per Diem Float Pharmacist at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients with behavioral health and addiction treatment needs. This position involves processing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws while delivering exceptional customer service. The pharmacist will work across various pharmacy locations in Arkansas, contributing to a coordinated care team that aims to improve health outcomes for individuals with complex health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
- Administers immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
- Performs any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
Requirements
- BA or PharmD in Pharmacy
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Arkansas
- Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
