About the position

The position involves ensuring a safe and professional healthcare environment while providing maintenance and locksmith services. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to hospital policies, and effective communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, cooperative, and professional health care environment to ensure optimum patient care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Make customer service a priority, treating customers in a professional manner and effectively communicating about services.
• Repipe cylinders and make keys.
• Install and repair locks, lock sets, and deadbolts.
• Install panic bars, door closers, and maintain doors.
• Install security plates.
• Sand, saw, and drill doors.
• Perform all related duties as assigned, including handling of material.
• Perform general maintenance functions.
• Set up Master, Sub-Master, and Change Keying Systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Vocational School training required.
• Locksmith License required.
• At least two (2) years of experience as an Apprentice/Maintenance Journeyman.
