About the position

connectRN is seeking part-time Med Surg Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide patient care with the flexibility to create their own schedules. This role is designed for nurses looking to supplement their income while maintaining a work-life balance, offering competitive pay and immediate payment options.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care while maintaining the standards for the Med/Surg Department.
• Think critically and respond quickly in acute settings.
• Communicate effectively and provide education to patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced observation skills to monitor changes in patient status.

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered state issued or multistate license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with the last year working in the Med Surg setting.
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) certification.
• ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross) certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in surgery or medical-surgical nursing.
• Additional certifications related to nursing.
