About the position

The Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner will join the UNC Physicians Network's Virtual Practice Primary Care Team, providing remote management of acute and chronic primary care needs. This per diem position allows for flexible scheduling with three 4-hour shifts per month, offering a work/life balance and the convenience of virtual care for patients across North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute and chronic primary care needs virtually.
• Provide scheduled and on-demand video, telephone, and E-Visits for patients.
• Ensure a strong virtual presence while delivering care.
• Collaborate with physician leaders and operational counterparts in a dyad organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of primary care experience is required.
• Experience with behavioral health is a plus.
• Open-minded and flexible with change.
• Strong virtual presence.
