This position will be scheduled Monday and Tuesday 9am - 5:30 with additional per diem coverage. This Patient Experience Representative is 100% in office and will be responsible for managing patient encounters, providing positive and effective customer service that supports unit operations, collaborating with referring providers and practices, obtaining required authorizations to compile patient and staff schedules, and scheduling patients to support the patient encounter. In addition, the role includes greeting and directing patients, families, and visitors, monitoring the daily schedule and coordinating flow with clinicians/supervisor, reconciling payments and preparing deposits, and providing a record of transactions in Hospital systems. The representative will also facilitate and direct communication with Financial Counseling, record and forward messages, triage calls for urgent information or services, and provide routine clerical support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Providing positive and effective customer service that supports unit operations.

Requirements

  • A high school level of education, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
