We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. The position is based at 8989 Huron St. Suite 204, Thornton, CO 80260, but the technician will need to be able to cover other sites in Thornton and Aurora, CO, and may also need to cover sites in Greely and Loveland, CO for PTO coverage and call outs. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MST.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Deliver medications to clinics and providers and patients
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Colorado
  • Ability to use personal vehicle to get to sites
  • Valid US driver's license and good driving record
