About the position

The Per Diem Pharmacy Technician role at Genoa, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, involves supporting the pharmacy's functions primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. This position is on an as-needed basis to cover for PTOs, call-outs, and leaves at two sites in St. Joseph, MO.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medical prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Perform necessary clerical duties related to pharmacy operations.
• Support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience.
