About the position

The Per Diem PHP Clinician at Arbour Counseling Services is responsible for delivering direct therapeutic services to clients in a Partial Hospitalization Program. This role involves providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions, conducting intakes, and managing cases and crises. The clinician collaborates with other medical service providers and community agencies to support clients effectively. The position emphasizes a therapeutic and supportive group environment, prioritizing the emotional and psychological well-being of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Conduct intakes and manage both case and crisis situations.
• Support clients through collaboration with medical service providers, state agencies, and community resources.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related Mental Health field from an accredited program.
• Prior experience in a higher level of care such as a psychiatric hospital, residential program, or emergency room.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle clients in crisis.
• Demonstrated ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills.
• Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy, and insight.
• Good time management skills for maintaining timely record keeping.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Familiarity with crisis management techniques.
