About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health visit nurse is a part-time position responsible for providing skilled nursing care to clients in their homes. This role involves conducting home health visits, admitting clients to services, and preparing clinical documentation. The RN will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and Administrator of Home Care and Home Health, ensuring high-quality care for clients recovering from illness or injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health visits to clients.
• Delegate tasks to caregivers as needed.
• Admit clients to home health services by completing necessary documentation, including initial nursing assessments and safety evaluations.
• Prepare and submit clinical notes at the end of each visit.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
• 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation, home care, or hospice.
• Prior TPN experience or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to practice independently and solve problems in nursing care delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable vehicle for travel to work sites, along with a valid Washington State Driver's License and proof of current auto liability insurance.
• Computer literate with experience in various computer programs.
