About the position

The Performance Media Manager - Paid Search + Paid Social position at Collective Measures is a pivotal role within the performance media team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing paid social and paid search advertising campaigns. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Performance Media and is integral to delivering best-in-class strategies for paid advertising. The successful candidate will be expected to recommend effective solutions to various marketing challenges, develop comprehensive campaign strategies, and manage optimization efforts across multiple ad platforms and media channels. A strong background in metrics and results-driven optimization is essential for success in this role. In this role, you will be tasked with the day-to-day oversight of the execution and performance of paid social and paid search campaigns. You will develop strategies that align with agency teams to ensure a holistic marketing approach. Communication is key, as you will summarize and convey the status of all campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead ongoing campaign optimization efforts, which include managing bidding strategies, budget allocations, keyword research, and ad copy development. Your responsibilities will also encompass budget and results forecasting, creating testing plans, and providing custom analysis and reporting. Collaboration with project managers and team leads will be crucial to ensure the timely delivery of project requirements. You will also be expected to share insights on paid media trends and tactics with the internal team and clients, occasionally authoring Point of View (POV) documents. Furthermore, you will play a key role in elevating the agency's paid social and paid search practices by contributing to blog posts and case studies, thereby enhancing the agency's reputation in the digital marketing space.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day oversight of execution and performance of paid social and paid search campaigns
  • Develop paid social and paid search campaign strategies that align across agency teams for a holistic marketing approach
  • Summarize and communicate the status of all campaigns with appropriate internal and external contacts
  • Lead the management of ongoing campaign optimization efforts including but not limited to bidding strategies, budget management, keyword research, ad copy, etc.
  • Budget and results forecasting
  • Testing plans, recommendations, and management
  • Custom analysis, reporting, and insights
  • Work with project managers and team leads to create and ensure timely delivery of project requirements
  • Share paid media trends, tactics, and opportunities to internal team and clients, with occasional authorship of POVs (Point of View) documents
  • Help elevate paid social and paid search practices for the agency by participating in blog posts and case studies

Requirements

  • 3-6+ years of paid social or paid search marketing experience
  • Strong holistic digital marketing / digital media knowledge
  • Advanced understanding of paid search advertising and relevant platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Self-starter approach to work, a positive attitude, and a drive to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
