About the position

The Performance Media Supervisor will be directly responsible for the oversight and performance of paid search and paid social, working closely with the Integrated Media Team to ensure that the plan aligns with the overall client's media strategy. This role is crucial in delivering best-in-class execution and strategy for paid placement advertising. The supervisor will develop paid search and social strategies, implement, report on, and analyze digital paid campaigns from top to bottom across multiple websites and channels. A strong background in metrics and results-driven optimization is vital for success in this position. In this role, the supervisor will manage day-to-day oversight and execution of paid search and paid social campaigns, focusing on lead generation and e-commerce. Responsibilities include conversion rate optimization, which involves identifying, recommending, and implementing new landing pages for A/B testing. The supervisor will analyze bottom funnel media, including platforms such as Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, to gain insights that will help integrate these findings into strategic plans, thereby improving all other tactics. Additionally, the supervisor will summarize and communicate the status of all campaigns with appropriate internal and external contacts. Collaboration with project managers and team leads is essential to create and ensure the timely delivery of project requirements. The supervisor will also report on developing search trends, tactics, and opportunities to the internal team and clients, occasionally authoring Point of View (POV) documents to share insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day oversight and execution of paid search and paid social campaigns across lead gen and ecommerce
  • Conversion rate optimization, including identifying, recommending and implementing new landing pages for A/B testing
  • Analyze bottom funnel media (Google AdWords/Bing Ads/FB/Instagram/YouTube, etc.) to gain insights and help integrate into strategic plans
  • Summarize and communicate the status of all campaigns with appropriate internal and external contacts
  • Work with project manager and team leads to create and ensure timely delivery of project requirements
  • Report on developing search trends, tactics, and opportunities to internal team and clients, with occasional authorship of POVs (Point of View) documents

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of paid search + paid social experience
  • Exceptional working knowledge of Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics
  • Advanced understanding of paid social advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube etc.)
  • Preferred working knowledge of 3rd party platforms (e.g., Marin, Kenshoo, SearchForce, DoubleClick DFA/DCM, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Self-starter approach to work, a positive attitude, and a drive to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Agency experience will be given preference
  • Current certifications in Google AdWords, Bing, and Google Analytics preferred
