About the position

The Performance Sales Manager at Samsung is responsible for driving revenue growth and building relationships with performance-driven agencies and advertisers. This role focuses on leveraging Samsung's proprietary ad platform, which utilizes first-party TV data to connect brands with their audiences across various devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in streaming video, data-driven audience activation, and measurement solutions, along with the ability to strategically anticipate client needs and close deals. This position is based in New York and involves domestic travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with named advertisers, agencies, and programmatic trading desks.
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of the Samsung Ads platform, capabilities, and unique inventory (including Samsung TV Plus).
  • Create a plan to build and grow Samsung Ads' business with named agencies and accounts.
  • Continuously provide value to customers and serve as a trusted consultant to drive advertising growth with Samsung Ads.
  • Monitor daily clearance rate across assigned accounts and work with product and support teams to troubleshoot any issues.
  • Act as an internal champion for advertising customers across Samsung.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the video and connected TV media ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of industry or relatable experience with a significant portion spent working at a TV network group, video streaming service, or SSP.
  • Proven track record of securing and growing spend from advertisers and agencies via all buy types: Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), Private Marketplace (PMP), and Insertion Order (IO).
  • Successful internal and external relationship management.
  • Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through.
  • Talent at explaining complex topics in simple terms in person, over the phone, or video conference.
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.

Benefits

  • Salary range between $145,000 and $165,000 plus an annual bonus of up to 80%.
