About The Position

The Performance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of associates in a logistics distribution environment, ensuring that daily operational goals are met while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with staff. This role involves supervising workflow, coaching employees, and implementing safety and efficiency measures to drive performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production-driven logistics and distribution environment.
• Strong technical proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience in training and supervising people.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on ownership and results.

Responsibilities

• Retain and review warehouse documents and business metrics.
• Organize and execute the daily workflow plan to ensure hourly associates meet daily order volume and customer service expectations.
• Supervise and coordinate staff and operations, planning and assigning daily work, training employees, and making performance decisions.
• Oversee daily activities of employees to ensure production standards are met.
• Coach employees on production performance, quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Coordinate training to ensure all associates are properly trained and documentation is maintained.
• Promote a strong safety awareness and culture within the team.
• Develop methods for improving operating efficiencies and implement procedures to drive production.
• Lead and control activities of up to 35-50 associates in various job functions.
• Communicate with the SIMOS Operations Manager regarding employee discipline, safety, and policy-related matters.
