Performance Tester/QA Lead

The role involves significant responsibilities in performance testing and quality assurance, contributing to the development and implementation of QA processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts for various protocols like HTTP, SOAP, JDBC, and JMS.
• Conduct load testing, stress testing, endurance testing, and other relevant performance tests using JMeter.
• Utilize Thread Groups, Samplers, Assertions, and Listeners in JMeter effectively.
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on performance testing outcomes for stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of QA processes and standards.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members in performance testing best practices.
• Estimate testing effort and timelines and participate in test planning and strategy sessions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in design, development, and execution of performance test scripts.
• 6+ years of experience working with JMeter.
• Significant experience in using Thread Groups, Samplers, Assertions, and Listeners in JMeter.
• Familiarity with popular JMeter Plugins.
