Perishable Order Selector

About the position

The Perishable Order Selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently filling retail store orders while operating industrial equipment. This role emphasizes safety and adherence to company values, including respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment, often during overnight shifts, and involves physical tasks such as lifting and moving products.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fill retail store orders accurately and productively.
• Follow voice commands or read orders to ascertain correct case numbers and quantities.
• Place selected cases on pallets and arrange them to minimize product damage.
• Wrap completed store orders and deliver them to the shipping dock.
• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures, including safety and attendance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, overtime, and holidays regularly.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull for a minimum of 8 hours with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work in ambient or refrigerated environments for long periods.

Nice-to-haves
