About the position
As an Application Developer at Accenture, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. This role requires expert proficiency in Perl scripting and a strong understanding of Bash scripting, along with experience in system administration and enterprise scheduling applications. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and streamline processes, ensuring efficient job function and compliance with IT service management standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business requirements.
- Maintain and modify existing Perl scripts for error handling and business needs.
- Perform system administration functions in job scheduling applications like Control-M.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to troubleshoot and define new process requests.
- Participate in software upgrades and patching for scheduling systems.
- Support internal audit efforts and ensure compliance with defined SLAs.
- Take part in on-call support rotation for process failures.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Perl scripting.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting is preferred.
- Experience with Windows Server and Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Deltek, and Oracle EBS.
- Knowledge of Middleware products like Microsoft Biztalk and SAP PI/PO.
- Understanding of ETL processes and related software like SAP Data Services.
- Experience with IT/Cybersecurity concepts, including zero trust model.
