About the position

We are seeking skilled Perl/PHP Developers to join our team and contribute to the maintenance, enhancement, and creation of programs that operate Case's Ladder. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our web applications and services. As a developer, you will be responsible for writing efficient code, debugging existing applications, and implementing new features that improve user experience and system performance. You will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Perl and PHP, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining web applications. Familiarity with mod_perl and MySQL is essential, as these technologies are integral to our current stack. Additionally, a good understanding of version control systems, particularly CVS or similar tools, is highly preferred. You will also benefit from experience with high-volume dynamically generated websites, including knowledge of LVS, mod_backhand, proxies, and PHP accelerators, which will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our projects. In this role, you will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the overall improvement of our development processes. Your ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance will be key to your success in this position. Requirements
