Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • ASCP or equivalent board certification required.
  • Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) certification preferred.
  • 5 years of Blood Bank experience required; 8 years preferred.
  • 2 years of experience as a Blood Bank Supervisor required; 4 years preferred.
  • 1 year of laboratory experience in high complexity testing for immunohematology required.
  • Experience in a high-volume hospital clinical laboratory setting preferred.
  • Experience in a blood bank reference lab desired.
