About the position

The RF Application Engineer will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems for scientific use. This role involves investigating complaints to determine the nature and extent of problems, overseeing project production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and conferring with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing and potential engineering projects and products. The engineer will also provide technical/application development support on engineering projects to key customers in RF (Radio Frequency) and EV (Electric Vehicle) SiC applications.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems.
  • Investigate complaints to determine the nature and extent of problems.
  • Oversee project production efforts to assure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Confer with engineers and customers regarding engineering projects.
  • Provide technical/application development support to key customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience with Product Management or related.
  • Proficient in conducting Radio Frequency (RF) verification and validation (V&V) testing under various conditions.
  • Experienced in theoretical and practical application of RF instrumentation.
  • Experienced in HAC T-Coil Measurements using SPEAG DASY4 automated system.
  • Conducted studies in 3GPP lab for cell phone audio band noise measurements.
  • Extensive experience in RF network design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with tools for analyzing RF signals.
  • Skilled in managing SmartEdge network systems and OSPF protocols.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IP network topology and routing protocols.
  • Experience with Juniper or Smart Edge products and Packet Core Network products.
