About the position

The IT Director is responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and implementation within the organization. This role involves managing IT projects, ensuring the security of IT systems, and leading a team of IT professionals to support the company's goals and objectives. The IT Director will collaborate with other departments to align technology initiatives with business needs and drive innovation through technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the IT strategy to support the organization's goals.
• Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee the security of IT systems and data, implementing necessary measures to protect against breaches.
• Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that enhance productivity.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential impact on the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with IT compliance and regulatory requirements.
