About the position

We are seeking a talented and skilled Permanent Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and precision, with expertise in semi-permanent makeup techniques. This role requires attention to detail, an understanding of color theory, and a strong commitment to client safety and satisfaction. The Permanent Makeup Artist will work with clients to enhance their natural features through the application of eyebrow tattoos, eyeliner, lip blush, and other semi-permanent makeup services.

Responsibilities

• Perform permanent makeup applications for various services, including eyebrow tattoos (microblading or powder brows), eyeliner, lip blush, and other semi-permanent makeup procedures.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, desired outcomes, and any concerns regarding the procedure.
• Ensure safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed during all treatments, including sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and advancements in permanent makeup to offer clients the best possible results.
• Educate clients on aftercare and the healing process, providing them with the necessary information to ensure optimal results.
• Assist in promoting and selling related beauty products, offering expert advice on skincare and aftercare products that complement permanent makeup.
• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment details, aftercare instructions, and any relevant medical history for safety purposes.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience from consultation to post-treatment follow-up.
• If qualified, assist in additional beauty services such as body waxing, hair threading, tattooing, or esthetic laser treatments.

Requirements

• Expertise in permanent makeup techniques, including eyebrow tattooing (microblading, ombre, or powder brows), eyeliner, lip blush, and other semi-permanent cosmetic services.
• In-depth knowledge of color theory and its application in permanent makeup.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in every application.
• Ability to create customized looks based on client preferences while maintaining a natural and flattering appearance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Experience with safety and sanitation practices specific to permanent makeup procedures.
• Knowledge of beauty industry trends and techniques.
• A valid certification or license in permanent makeup or cosmetology/esthetician services is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in performing other beauty services such as body waxing, hair threading, or tattooing is a plus.
