About the position

The Infant/Toddler Substitute Teacher is responsible for supervising and assisting young children in a classroom setting. This role focuses on ensuring the children's safety, hygiene, and readiness for activities, while also providing support during meal times and personal care. The position requires participation in training and may involve additional light duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the children in the assigned classroom.
• Help prepare children for all activities.
• Assist children with eating habits, restroom use, and personal hygiene.
• Ensure each child receives physical and medical assistance when necessary.
• Help prepare children for and during dismissal.
• Perform light janitorial duties as needed.
• Assist with food preparation and clerical duties.
• Participate in all applicable in-service trainings or meetings.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
