As a Peroni Brand Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in enhancing brand experiences and creating memorable moments for consumers. Your primary focus will be on serving as a dedicated brand expert in the Washington, DC market, where you will engage with various stakeholders, including accounts, trade partners, and distributors. This position combines elements of marketing and commercial sales, requiring you to develop and maintain strong relationships that drive brand awareness and growth. You will be responsible for increasing menu placements and advocating for the brand in influential accounts, ensuring that Peroni stands out in a competitive market. In this role, you will act as a category and mixology expert, executing brand promotions, tastings, and training sessions to engage consumers and trade partners alike. Staying informed about customer and consumer trends will be essential, as you will share insights that can influence marketing strategies. You will maintain a calendar of activities and promotions, ensuring effective communication with distributors and the sales team. Additionally, you will provide bi-weekly market activity reports to the Regional Market Manager, detailing your objectives, accomplishments, and any competitive activities. Your responsibilities will also include calling on key on-premise and off-premise accounts to build brand awareness and drive volume growth. You will utilize sales reports to measure brand performance and contribute to analysis and recommendations for your territory. Participation in out-of-market sales blitzes and maintaining relationships with top volume accounts will be key to your success. This position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a passion for the brand and its products.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a dedicated brand expert and resource focused on all things brand related in the assigned market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts, trade, and distributor partners.
  • Increase brand awareness and growth through menu placements, distribution, and advocacy for the brand.
  • Act as a brand category and mixology expert to strengthen category leadership.
  • Align with key local industry events and participate where the opportunity fits the strategy.
  • Execute brand promotions, tastings, and trainings throughout the market.
  • Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and share insights.
  • Maintain a calendar of activities and promotions and ensure effective communications with distributors and sales team.
  • Provide bi-weekly market activity reports to the Regional Market Manager.
  • Call on key on and off-premise accounts to develop strong relationships and build brand awareness.
  • Utilize sales reports to measure brand performance and contribute to analysis and recommendations.
  • Participate in out-of-market sales blitzes and maintain top volume accounts.

Requirements

  • Passionate, self-motivated, creative, and responsible individual.
  • Proactive communicator with comfort in speaking to small groups.
  • Experience in sales preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador preferred.
  • Sound financial skills and experience managing a budget.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Bartending, Sommelier, or Mixology experience is a plus.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Must reside in or near the market location.
