Responsibilities
- Build new relationships with potential clients contacting the agency.
- Guide clients in selecting the right insurance coverage.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key referral sources.
- Identify prospects through cold calling and visiting local businesses.
- Complete necessary paperwork and input data into the software system after securing a sale.
- Nurture relationships to cross-sell additional insurance products.
- Participate in agency-provided training to become familiar with the range of products and systems.
- Ensure all renewals and change requests comply with company standards.
Requirements
- Valid P&C Insurance License
- Proven sales success
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Self-motivated and resilient
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
