As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those you serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers as needed.
• Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Monitor client health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other memory-related conditions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, nursing home, or memory care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and familiarity with resident rights is essential.
• Skills in medication administration and basic health monitoring are highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are crucial for success in this role.

• A background in social work or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
