About the position

The Personal Assistant for Family of Three will provide essential support to a busy family based in East Rock, New Haven. This part-time role primarily involves remote work, with occasional local errands and coordination. The assistant will manage household operations, coordinate with service providers, and handle various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the family's daily life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing emails, and running local errands.
  • Coordinate and liaise with service providers such as tradesmen, housekeepers, and repairmen.
  • Assist in maintaining household organization and ensure timely completion of any home projects or repairs.
  • Maintain, update, and improve on family handbook, detailing key vendor info and cadence for house, health and family-friends responsibilities.
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of the family, and take initiative to provide support proactively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally supporting a busy family.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
  • Strong references from previous employers.
