About the position

The Personal Assistant/House Manager will support a busy interior designer and single mother by managing household tasks and errands. The role is designed to integrate long-term into the family, providing assistance with daily administrative duties, organization, and light housekeeping, allowing the designer to spend more quality time with her daughter.

Responsibilities

  • Manage household tasks and errands such as dry cleaning, car wash, grocery shopping, and making appointments.
  • Anticipate family needs and assist with selecting seasonal fruits and vegetables for the fridge.
  • Help with weekly floral arrangements and packing/unpacking for trips.
  • Organize closets and pantry items, ensuring the fridge and cleaning supplies are stocked.
  • Handle mail and light housekeeping tasks, including putting away clean dishes and cleaning out old flower vases.
  • Prepare light meals, such as keeping quinoa, rice, roasted veggies, and healthy snacks in the fridge.
