If you are compassionate, caring, love to help, and are a problem solver and a critical thinker, this role would be perfect for you. This position serves as a direct assistant to a CEO, providing support to him and his family in the general management of their home and life. The role is centered around compassion, primarily working directly for the CEO and assisting in areas concerning his youngest son and oldest sister. A genuine desire to help and manage tasks for the family as if they were your own is a key aspect of this role. The successful candidate will ideally have 2-3 years of experience as a personal assistant for a busy professional and his family, along with at least 2 years of experience as a house manager. Basic knowledge of PC and the MS Office package (Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe) is required, with medium knowledge of Excel to summarize expense reimbursements using basic formulas for calculating costs. Strong knowledge of Outlook is essential for maintaining a contact database and scheduling meetings for the CEO. Competency in general office equipment (printer, scanner, phones, fax) is also necessary, along with proficiency in using smartphones and computers. Excellent writing skills, internet research skills, and verbal communication skills are crucial, with fluency in Spanish being helpful but not mandatory. The candidate should be a good negotiator of costs with vendors, treating each expense as if it were their own. Availability to work some evenings and possibly weekends is required, with most of the time providing advanced notice. The candidate must be a responsible self-starter with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. The role involves handling all travel arrangements, calendaring meetings using Outlook, and managing several personal errands and confidential matters. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting guests, maintaining household supplies, organizing personal items, and serving as the main contact for family rental houses and tenants. The candidate will also coordinate with service providers and manage a team of caregivers for a disabled relative, preparing work schedules and facilitating appointments as needed. The position requires a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent memory and communication skills to anticipate the needs of the CEO and family, becoming a key member of the team.
