About the position

We are seeking a resourceful and friendly Personal Assistant to help organize a delightful home life in the Russian Hill area. This position offers the opportunity to create a warm and fluid home environment while managing various tasks that contribute to a productive lifestyle. The role is expected to require 20-25 hours per week, with a pay range of $20-25 per hour depending on fit and experience. There is potential for more hours if needed, and the work can be performed both onsite and remotely. As a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including online research for home design, running errands, shopping both online and offline, handling returns, managing mail, and caring for plants. You will also assist in resolving issues related to insurance, utilities, and bills. The role requires fluency in online and mobile applications, as well as the ability to quickly learn and find new services that can enhance home management. Some projects may require creative problem-solving skills and an understanding of the employer's preferences, while others will involve straightforward tasks such as ensuring bills are paid on time. Additionally, you will be interacting with Sophie, the employer's adorable Maltipoo, so a love for pets is essential. This position is not just about completing tasks; it is about making a significant difference in the employer's life and finding fulfillment in the work you do.
