About the position

The Personal Assistant/Mother's Helper position is a part-time role designed for a reliable and adaptable individual to support a growing family in San Diego, CA. This position is structured as a 1099 employee role, requiring approximately 5 hours of work per week, with the potential for increased hours as the company expands in the fall. The role offers flexible scheduling, allowing for a balance between work and personal commitments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include running errands, assisting with small business-related activities, and providing transportation for teenagers. The position is well-suited for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment and is comfortable with multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively. In this role, you will be expected to run errands such as grocery shopping and other miscellaneous tasks that may arise. You will also assist with small business-related tasks, which may include picking up supplies, data entry, and managing correspondence. A key responsibility will be to ensure safe transportation for teenagers, which includes driving them to their destinations every morning. The company will reimburse gas expenses incurred during these tasks. Additionally, you will provide administrative support as needed, which may involve organizing schedules and managing various forms of correspondence. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, has excellent time management skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Run errands, including grocery shopping and miscellaneous tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable working with dogs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to relocate to San Diego, CA before starting work.
