About the position

As a Mother's Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our family by assisting with childcare, household tasks, and administrative duties. This position is designed for someone who is compassionate, organized, and enjoys working with children. You will work closely with the mother, who operates from home, to create a nurturing environment for the children while ensuring that the household runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include engaging with and supervising the children in a safe manner, assisting with daily routines such as meal preparation and bedtime, and helping with light housekeeping tasks. You will also accompany the family on outings and provide support as needed, fostering a collaborative relationship with the mother to ensure the well-being and development of the children. Open communication is key, and you will be expected to proactively share any concerns or updates with the family.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and supervise children in a safe and nurturing manner
• Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, feeding, and bedtime routines
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, laundry, and organizing
• Accompany the family on outings and provide support as needed
• Collaborate with the mother to ensure the well-being and development of the children
• Communicate openly and proactively with the family regarding any concerns or updates

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a similar role
• Genuine love for children and a nurturing demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
• Willingness to undergo a background check
