About the position

The Personal Assistant role at Oaks of Hebron involves supporting clients with developmental disabilities in their daily living activities. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals by assisting them in achieving independence and community integration.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living.
• Teach and support clients in money management.
• Assist with household chores and maintenance.
• Promote exercise and nutrition through healthy meal preparation.
• Facilitate recreational skills and social outings.
• Monitor medication and accompany clients to medical appointments.
• Support clients in developing social and emotional skills.
• Encourage community integration through recreational activities.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to pass a health exam, drug test, and criminal background clearance.
• Reliable transportation and valid California Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in caregiving (1 year preferred).
