About the position

The Personal Assistant role involves supporting a 32-year-old disabled female in her daily activities and routines. The assistant will help with various tasks while ensuring the individual’s needs are met, providing companionship and assistance in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the individual with daily routines and activities.
• Support during adapted swimming sessions three times a week.
• Accompany her on short walks with her dog.
• Engage in activities such as coloring and watching cartoons.
• Help with meal outings and social interactions.
• Provide assistance with health needs and scheduling.

Requirements

• Experience in personal assistance or caregiving roles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities.
• Patience and understanding towards individuals with low IQ.
• Willingness to assist with mobility needs, including wheelchair use.
