About the position

The Personal Banker I position at Dickinson Financial Corporation involves engaging with clients to promote bank products and services, ensuring a high-quality client experience, and conducting accurate banking transactions. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a team to meet sales goals and enhance client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Achieve specific sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by performing activities in the bank's sales cycle, including identifying and engaging prospects, recommending products based on needs, and onboarding clients.
• Provide "fast, easy, and personal" service consistent with Company standards, including resolving problems and handling special requests.
• Demonstrate digital expertise by using digital platforms and educating clients about online banking, bill pay, mobile banking app, and other digital products.
• Conduct operational tasks for servicing clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and bank regulations.
• Protect all client and bank information confidentially and follow all company policies.
• Understand, communicate, and instill the Company's mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
• Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Work at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience required.
• Minimum 6 months sales and customer service experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Basic math skills including cash counting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months cash handling experience preferred.
