Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer experiences and building long-term customer relationships.
- Asking questions and listening to provide banking and possibly lending solutions that meet unique customer needs.
- Receiving training to know the products, services, and operations at Merc.
- Staying informed of changes in banking and sharing information with team members and customers.
- Completing operational procedures, transactions, and audits accurately and on time.
- Achieving individual and team goals.
- Meeting and referring business to banking partners in Mortgage, Commercial, and Treasury.
- Tracking and reporting sales and referral activities.
- Promoting Mercantile Bank through community involvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR 2 years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience with needs-based selling and providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Experience working in Retail Banking is preferred.
