About the position

As a Personal Banker at PNC, you will play a crucial role in strengthening customer relationships through a defined sales process. Your primary focus will be engaging customers in sales conversations to identify suitable financial solutions, thereby enhancing customer loyalty and driving revenue growth. This position is part of PNC's Retail Branch Banking Network, located in McLean, VA, where you will collaborate with partners to improve customer financial wellbeing and manage the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer share of wallet.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions.
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire and retain relationships.
  • Create customer loyalty and grow share of wallet through a differentiated experience.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
  • Educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems effectively.
  • Manage risk through adherence to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience in banking or customer service.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective communication skills.
