About The Position

The Personal Banker position serves as a key point of contact in the branch for sales, service, and referral opportunities, aiming to build lifelong relationships with customers. This role involves servicing existing customers, assisting with transactions, and actively participating in business development to support branch goals while adhering to the highest ethical standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated positive and helpful attitude toward customers.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in using banking software.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships and retain existing ones by identifying customer opportunities and cross-selling products.
• Participate in creating a welcoming lobby experience and direct customers to appropriate team members based on their needs.
• Take ownership of the customer experience, including account openings, cross-selling products, and resolving issues.
• Build new customer relationships through frequent interactions and proactive outreach to ensure satisfaction.
• Educate customers on utilizing available access channels effectively.
• Engage in business development activities such as community events and outreach to enhance branch visibility.
• Assist in resolving difficult customer situations while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures, including transaction processing and regulatory requirements.
• Stay proficient in all bank products and services across delivery channels.
• Exhibit trustworthiness, professionalism, and confidentiality in all customer interactions.
• Adhere to communication standards and maintain open dialogue with customers and team members.
• Maintain attendance and flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
