About the position
The Personal Care Aide/Assistant role at Cornerstone Caregiving involves providing compassionate care to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling options, including day, night, and overnight shifts, allowing caregivers to balance their work and personal lives while making a positive impact in the community.
Responsibilities
- Helping clients take prescribed medication
- Assisting with mobility in and around the house
- Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
- Preparing meals for clients
- Performing light housekeeping duties
- Offering companionship and support to clients
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Caregiving experience of at least 2 years
- Valid Driver's License
- Certified Home Health Aide certification (preferred)
- Experience using a hoyer lift (preferred)
- Effective communication skills
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check
