About the position

As a Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide at Elara Caring, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in their homes. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, which may include bathing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Transport clients to appointments and assist with mobility as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the Care Team Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Passion for helping people and providing personal care.
  • Reliable transportation to perform job responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
  • Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a caregiving role.
