Interim HealthCare of Fargo is seeking dedicated, caring, and compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our winning team. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients of all ages in their homes. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to provide your availability, and we will accommodate your needs accordingly. Our Personal Care Aides enjoy a supportive work environment with 24/7 contact with staff members, ensuring you have the resources and assistance you need at all times. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting the hygiene, grooming, and comfort needs of clients, which includes tasks such as toileting, bathing, and providing companionship. Additionally, you will assist clients with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and engaging in socialization activities. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients in their homes.
  • Meet clients' hygiene, grooming, and comfort needs, including toileting and bathing.
  • Offer companionship to clients to enhance their emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Engage clients in socialization activities to promote their overall quality of life.

Requirements

  • Six months of experience in a comparable job classification or a current CNA license, or completion of the first semester of nursing school.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • CPR certification preferred but not required.
  • Two professional references required.
  • Background check is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license and current car insurance are required.
