About the position

As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. We are committed to your success and offer a free and paid two-week training class that will prepare you to earn your Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification. Upon completion of the training, you will have the opportunity to start your career with us in an entry-level position. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include household chores, cooking and meal preparation, and assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and bathroom tasks. You will also handle cleaning and laundry, shopping and errands, and assist clients with mobility throughout their homes, including transferring clients to wheelchairs. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid Personal Care Aide certification
  • Passion for helping people including bathing, housekeeping, and meal preparation
  • Reliable transportation; requires access to a dependable vehicle
  • Valid Driver's License/Auto Insurance
  • Occasional heavy lifting; ability to work for extended periods of time while standing and being involved in physical activity
