About the position

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) position is a part-time role focused on providing compassionate care to children with developmental disabilities. The aide will work closely with a family, specifically with twins, ensuring their safety and engagement while allowing the parents to take breaks. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to communicate effectively in Russian, Armenian, or Ukrainian.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to children with developmental disabilities.
• Engage and interact with twins in a social and supportive manner.
• Assist with daily activities and ensure the safety of the children.
• Be flexible with scheduling to accommodate the family's needs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Valid Driver's License is necessary.
• Ability to pass a DOI/FBI background check.
• Comply with COVID-19 requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in caregiving preferred (1 year).
