The Personal Care Aide (PCA) position at Civility Home Care involves providing compassionate care to clients in homecare settings. Responsibilities

• Provides care such as bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, and toileting activities as necessary.
• Assists with daily tasks including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, and providing transportation to appointments and activities.
• Ensures that care is delivered in a respectful manner, adhering to agency policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Current, valid state certification in good standing preferred.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience preferred.
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile preferred.
• Empathy for the needs of the client.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy and respect.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in homecare or assisted living settings.
• Additional certifications in caregiving or healthcare.
