About the position

As a Personal Care Aide (PCA) with Comfort Keepers, you will provide essential companionship and personal care to seniors and older adults in their homes. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients by ensuring they receive the support they need to live positively and purposefully. Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes.
• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families.
• Help seniors get into and out of bed as needed.
• Help seniors use the restroom when needed.
• Perform duties as assigned on senior care service plan.
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments, and hobbies.
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home.

Requirements

• Submit to criminal background investigation (20 year), motor vehicle driving record check, and pre-employment drug screening.
• Possess valid current driver's license, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Possess PCA, HHA, or CNA license or have 6 months of experience as a caregiver (preferred but not required).
• Possess high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to service the Stockton, CA area.
