About the position

Springfield Senior Living Center, located on the Wyndmoor Hills Campus, is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our compassionate team. This role is essential in providing high-quality personal care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a PCA, you will assist clients with all activities of daily living, which includes bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other personal care requirements. Your role will also involve providing medication reminders and companionship care, offering emotional support by actively listening to clients and responding appropriately to their needs. Additionally, you will accompany clients to appointments, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support outside of the facility. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of seniors. Responsibilities

• Assist with all activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide medication reminders to clients.
• Offer companionship care and emotional support by listening to clients and responding appropriately.
• Accompany clients to appointments.

Requirements

• Current CPR & First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background screening, TB screening, and physical examination.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and possess reliable transportation.
• Care-giving experience preferred but not required.
