Quality Life Services - Worthington is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to work as Personal Care Aides (PCAs). In this full-time role, you will be working in our Personal Care location, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of older adults. As a PCA, you will be part of a collaborative team whose energy, communication, and dedication are valued and rewarded. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and we offer the option for Personal Care Aides to receive FREE Med Tech training, allowing for career advancement and increased earning potential through our Med Tech classes and training. A typical day in the life of a Personal Care Aide includes assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed, passing medications, showering or bathing residents as scheduled or required, making resident beds, charting as needed, and providing scheduled resident activities. Communication is key in this role, as you will need to relay any concerns to the next shift or the PC Administrator. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying safety hazards and emergency situations to ensure the well-being of all residents.
